Skal starte på sertifikat og regner med at det tar ca 1 uke før jeg får det. Det er ikke en omfattende prosess som i Norge. Må alikevel vise til grunnleggnede ferdigheter, synstest, reaksjonsevne og bevise at jeg kan kjøre.  Det er separate sertifikater  for bil og motorsykkel. 

Tar sikte på en scooter som ovenfor eller lignende med automatgir og ca 16 hk. En lett type som egner seg godt på landeveien og i byen. 

I'm going to start working on my license and I expect it will take about 1 week before I get it. It's not an extensive process like in Norway. I still have to show basic skills, vision test, reaction ability and prove that I can drive. There are separate licenses for cars and motorcycles.

Aiming for a scooter with automatic transmission and about 16 hp. A light type that is well suited for the highway and in the city.

Har fått oppholdtilatelse i Thailand frem til 18 februar 2027. Jeg har betalt skatt til Thailand i året 2025. Nå vil jeg også ha mine grunnleggende rettigheter i Norge som medlemskap i folketrygden. Den er en sikkerhet hvis jeg blir syk. Betaler samlet trygdeavgift på 7,4%. Norge og Thailand har en skatte avtale. Det vil si at jeg ikke skal dobeltbeskattes. Skal betale inntekt- skatt til Thailand. 

Systemeter slik at jeg betaler både trygdeskatt og inntektskatt til Norge hver måned. Når året 2026 er over skriver jeg Thailandsk selvangivelse og betaler skatt i 2027 for innekts- året 2026 til Thailand. Når jeg har dokumentasjon for betalt skatt i Thailand registrer jeg i norske selvangivelse og får igjen den norske inntektskatt. 

I have residence permit in Thailand until 18 February 2027. I have paid tax to Thailand in the year 2025. Now I will also have my basic rights in Norway as membership in the national insurance. It is a security if I get sick. I pay a total social security contribution of 7.4%. Norway and Thailand have a tax agreement. This means that I will not be double taxed. I will pay income tax to Thailand.

The system is that I pay both social security tax and income tax to Norway every month. When the year 2026 is over, I will file a Thai tax return and pay tax in 2027 for the income year 2026 to Thailand. When I have documentation for tax paid in Thailand, I will register in the Norwegian tax return and get the Norwegian income tax back.
